Basic Body Types

The four basic body types are (click each for more information):

• Rectangle, also known as Box or Square:
  Shoulders and hips are nearly equal with little or no waist definition.
• Circle, also known as Apple or Sphere:
  Shoulders and hips are narrow compared to the waist.
• Triangle, also known as Pear or Cone:
  Shoulders are narrow compared to the hips.
• Inverted Triangle, also known as Wedge:
  Shoulders are wide compared to the hips.
