Barbara has been at home since her family started growing and local work options started shrinking. She’s been out of the work force for several years, but that’s about to change. Even though a fourth baby is on the way, now that their youngest is in a preschool, she’s going to work part-time as an administrative assistant at a local health care facility. Barbara describes the atmosphere as “friendly, casual and scrubby.”
“At home I live in maternity tops and expandable pants. But now that I have the chance to go back to work, I’m going to need some tops, new scrubs in my size, some scrub pants that will grow along with me. And I need a light-weight coat that will layer well. I do not have time to go shopping in stores but I’m quite comfortable shopping online.”
